About the Ultramook Trail Race
The Ultramook 50k & 30k Trail Race is a unique adventure through the Tillamook State Forest and BLM managed lands. The race features a larger 30k loop and a smaller 20k loop, with participants either running the 30k loop or both loops to complete the 50k. The course traverses abandoned logging roads, traveled and crafted over time by wild elk and other wildlife. Runners will summit three coastal peaks—Stanley Peak, Top of the World #1, and Top of the World #2—and race along the Tillamook Ridge.
The race starts at 8:00 AM across the Kilchis River from the Hydrangea Ranch at Oregon Coastal Flowers. Aid stations are strategically placed along the course, providing water, Gatorade, snacks, and first aid supplies. The race is organized by the newly formed Ultimook non-profit 501 c3, which raises money for youth running programs in the Pacific Northwest.
