Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Ultimook Running Camp is once again offering five FREE scholarships via an essay contest. Simply write an essay on “What is CHARACTER and why is it important in athletics.” The essay deadline is July 18th. Winners will be announced on our website July 25th.

Essays can be of any length and format, content is what is important to us. They can be e-mailed to patrick@ultimookrunningcamp.com or mailed to: Ultimook Running Camp, 9455 Kilchis River Rd., Tillamook, OR 97141. Campers who have already signed up and paid their deposit are also eligible and will be reimbursed if they win. Past scholarship winners are ineligible. We expect 100+ entrances so make yours standout.

There are just a few spots left in camp. Register soon if you haven’t already. We are encouraging athletes to sign up even if you are entering the essay contest as camp will likely be full by the essay deadline. We will reimburse deposits for the winners. The Ultimook Running Camp’s mission is to develop long distance runners in both mind and body. Kids will get some great workouts on some of the most beautiful runs on the Oregon Coast, but our focus is on building character within our athletes.
