“This trail is the best kept secret on the Oregon Coast, and we’re ready to introduce it to the world of running”
This race was a true adventure from start to finish. The unexpected run through the river for the finish was just what my legs (and my soul) needed! I loved the encouragement at the aid stations and the snacks were great!Â
Great course, great aid stations, great race swag. The course was marked well and that was appreciated. Thank you for hosting a really fun mid year event. I loved the weekend you choose with it being right after the 4th of July.Â
I liked the varied terrain, cool shaded trails, aid station points, and river crossing finish. I liked the clearly marked trail and views from Top of the World #1 and #2.Â
I just wanted to write a note and say how much fun we had at the race the other weekend! What an amazing course, and camping on your beautiful property was great. I am already looking forward to next years race, and talking to lots of Washington people to come down there with me. Keep up the excellent work, and wonderful races.
Low key, old school logistics are the life blood of ultras & this race delivers! The friendly approach to competently accommodating runners’ needs was much appreciated. You have a wonderful venue in all aspects. The course had nearly all the features ultrarunners crave. Specifically; an adequate easy warm-up first few miles, tough hills, challenging sections, a little mud here & there, water & river crossings, beautiful scenery with magnificent views and as a reward some nice long easy downhills where runners can really fly if they still have legs! I wish I could have run this thing when I was 20 years younger.Â
